2018 Web Accessibility Challenge Champions

Accessibility Excursion IconThis spring 32 campus departments and student groups entered their websites into the Web Accessibility Challenge.  The goal of the challenge was for websites to be more accessible for individuals with disabilities. Each participant received an automated scan of their website that detailed accessibility errors found on the site. The IT Accessibility Office helped participants understand how to update their websites and re-ran the report on the challenge’s final day (April 27th). The winners of the challenge are the ones who improved their website accessibility by the greatest percentage and those who have fewer than 10 percent accessibility errors on their pages.
