ICT Accessibility Regulation

NC State’s ICT Accessibility Regulation  outlines the responsibilities of faculty, staff, and administrators in regards to accessibility.

Accessibility Best Practices

• It is the responsibility of the content creator to design accessible content.
• Plan for accessibility from the beginning because the process of creating accessible content is an order of magnitude easier, both in time and money, than fixing accessibility issues after the fact.
• All content should be made accessible when delivered to a group where the functional limitations are not known, including, but not limited to, the public display of content on websites, or someone in the group needs an accessible version.
