Transcript and Captioning Providers
NC State has established a convenience contract for transcript and caption creation. The providers listed below can be used by anyone at NC State, but to receive the pricing you must reference Contract 63-JGD10298. For purchases of $5000 or more, any of these providers may be used without going out to bid. The providers can also be used for purchases under $5000, but for purchases in this price range you may also go with any provider you would like.

- Same day service is only available for English
- Content which is untranscribable due to excessive noise or music may be rejected. In this case the user will be notified and there will be no charge
- There is no additional charge for multiple speakers, however poor quality audio may lengthen the time required to transcribe or may prohibit transcription altogether

Notes
- Jobs that are cancelled with less than 24-hour notice are billed for the total scheduled time.
- Some sessions require extra setup time, which will be added to the beginning of the session. Adobe Connect sessions require an extra 15 minutes, and graduation or commencement sessions require an extra 30 minutes.
